About Matt McFerran

Builder Matt McFerran, owner and president of Madison Custom Homes, Inc., was born and raised in Indiana before he received his bachelor’s degree in Construction Engineering at East Tennessee State University.

Matt moved back to Indiana to pursue a career in the home building industry. 1n 1992, he acquired a position with a large, well established, locally-owned home building company shortly after he graduated college.

Matt worked for that large home construction company for 9 years and then decided to try something different, by working for a smaller custom home construction firm. After working for a premier, well-established small custom home builder for three years, he decided to venture out on his own and start his own construction company, Madison Custom Homes, Inc.

Matt lives in the Fishers area of Central Indiana with his wife and two daughters. The company was named after his oldest daughter, Madison.

Matt McFerran understands the wants and needs of Central Indiana residents building their own home, and he is fully versed in the the requirements, specifications and building codes of Indianapolis and the surrounding local communities.
